PDP Graphic Artwork and Photography Exhibition Competition
Organized by PDP Organization
Win a PDP CUBE!
The competition is open for all interested artists and photographers and graphic deisgners, be they professionals or amateurs. The organizing team is especially looking forward to the participation of young people and students (BSc., MSc., PhD.). "It is a conscious process, at once both active and inactive. It represents the starting point of creative thought, empathy and understanding.By interacting with the outside world, we jumpstart many uncoscious processes. We analize and inspire ourselves-both directly and indirectly- and enter a state which eventually leads us to something new: our new selves, new skills and better understanding of a particular topic." Absorption in this contest means being present and aware of the many processes you find yourself in-some of which you help create. Technical requirements for photography* : You are able to submit your work in two categories: a single, and a series of photography. Photographs are to be submitted in JPG format. Size of each separate file is limited to 5 MB. Each author may submit a maximum of 3 single photos. A photo series should contain 4 to 8 photos in JPG format. Each author may submit a maximum of 2 photo series, regardless if they’re submitting single photos as well. The content of the photos must not propagate racial, religious, national or any other form of discrimination. Technical requirements for graphic artworks* : Posters are to be submitted in PDF format and artworks will be printed on the Riso printer. Each participant may submit a maximum of three posters. Posters will be printed on the Riso printer. The paper size is A3 (420 x 297mm); paper is white and uncoated. It is necessary to include a 15mm safe space along all four sides of the artwork. Posters will not be trimmed so your artwork will have to be within the given margins. The colour scheme is limited to the following colours: -RED (Riso colour name: Red; hexadecimal code: #FF665E) -BLUE (Riso colour name: Medium Blue; hexadecimal code: #3255A4) -BLACK (Riso colour name: Black; hexadecimal code: #000000) Note that the usage of any other colour is not allowed, nor any application of gradients is not possible. It is, however, possible to print overlapping colours and thus achieve a desired tone. Please send a full colour PDF file of your artwork but keep in mind when preparing a document with multiple colour layers to separate each layer by colour and then save each layer as a separate PDF document. Entries to the competition are anonymously judged by a jury panel of established design industry professionals. The competition theme and all propositions are described in a detailed brief on the official website, so please visit for more informations on how to apply. All authors whose work will be presented at the exhibition will receive a certificate of participation. Top three artworks will receive award, with the best work being awarded with a unique award of the PDP Conference – the PDP Cube. PDP Creative Media Conference is one of the last remaining and long standing design and mixed media conferences in Serbia.
